If you want to learn to play bass guitar fast then lessons are essential. Trying to learn on your own is slow and often times frustrating. Having no clue what to learn or how to learn it is not the best way to go about it.
When it comes to lessons you have a few option that are open to you. Now some people for some strange reason have a problem with paying for lessons. They say that they want to learn to play bass guitar but they wont invest in their bass education. After spending money on a bass guitar and an amp this seems totally crazy.
There are basically 2 types of lessons that you can take, private in person lessons with a bass teacher or online bass lessons. Lessons with a local teacher are a great way to learn but can also is very expensive. If you decided to go the private lessons route expect to pay $120-$200 a month for one lessons a week.
With online lessons or an online course you often just pay one time and get access to video training. This is what I offer people and seems to be the best option for most people.
